“Because we stand in the midst of a transition where we cannot remain standing…..

Eternal optimist 🙂

I have always loved to write. Writing gives me such a sense of  belonging and blogging is one way to share a piece of my experiences with all of you. This blog details my journey as an African girl, mother, wife, gender student and most importantly, child of the universe. We live our lives the best way we can, sometimes we get it right, sometimes we falter, and it is all beautiful.

Am an eternal optimist who believes that God holds us at the palm of his hands, always a prayer away when we need him.Am passionate about Gender too, how women and men can work together to build relationships and institutions that will stand the test of time. This blog  is a mesh of all things ‘me’.

In 1904, Rainer Maria Rilke, the poet and novelist wrote to Mr. Kappus who was going through a rough time. He urged Mr. Kappus to embrace life in it’s whole and that all the happenings were within the journey that is life. In his letter Rilke also adds “You must realize that something is happening to you, that life has not forgotten you, that it holds you in its hand and will not let you fall.”

love, light and blessings
